Port Noblessner Residential, Estonia

Once a large submarine factory and seaplane harbour, Port Noblessner has been turned into a bustling residential seafront quarter with many restaurants and businesses.

PLUSS architects specified a durable frost resistant limestone that would be able to withstand the harsh climatic conditions of winter on the Baltic Sea coastline. Our Arensburg limestone with a sawn surface finish was selected because it fulfilled the criteria of frost resistance and durability as well as being aesthetically pleasing.

A range of different dimensions of façade panels was selected with a variety of different widths and lengths. The façade panels thickness was 10 mm and the panels were glued with special stone adhesive to concrete wall elements behind.

There were also a number of bespoke items that were specially cut from our Arensburg limestone including door and window surrounds which added to the overall quality of this prestigious project.
