Kullabergs Vingård, Sweden

Not only do Saxby Stone make tiles from Arensburg limestone but we also make windowsills and kitchen countertops. Stockholm based architects, Berglund Arkitekter commissioned Saxby Stone to make all the windowsills for a new winery on the beautiful Kullaberg peninsula in Skåne in southwest Sweden.

We supplied windowsills in thicknesses of 30 mm and 20 mm with a range of different edge profiling as specified by Berglund Arkitekter. The client, Kullabergs Vingård, was delighted with the natural, fossil rich appearance of their limestone windowsills which was perfectly aligned with their vision for the new restaurant and wine tasting area.
