In her vision for the refurbishment of this classical Stockholm townhouse, interior designer Ilse Crawford wanted to ensure that the best of Swedish quality was represented throughout.

For the floor tiles Ilse selected Öland Grey limestone in Roman Pattern the vibrant grey and brown colour tones of which served to bind together her vision for the natural colours on display throughout this classical boutique hotel.

Öland Grey limestone is popular throughout Scandinavia due to its beautiful natural colours which are enriched by an abundance of fossils of tropical sea creatures from a time when Sweden lay close to the equator.
